Megan Ranney MD MPH FACEP is a practicing emergency physician, federally funded researcher, and nationally-recognized public health innovator. She is the Director of the Brown-Lifespan Center for Digital Health, a joint venture between Brown University and Lifespan health system with the goal of quickly developing and disseminating digital health products that impact the health of patients and populations. Her own research focuses on development and dissemination of usable, effective technology-augmented tools to identify and prevent violence and related behavioral health problems. She is the Co-Founder of GetUsPPE, a startup non-profit dedicated to getting personal protective equipment to those who need it most, and Chief Research Officer for AFFIRM Research, the country's leading non-profit creating a non-partisan public health approach to firearm injury.
