Dr. Jeffrey Levy is a physician, educator, entrepreneur, inventor, and an internationally recognized expert in e-Learning. He is the Founder and CEO of CaseNetwork, an online medical education company that provides the highest quality case-based medical and self-care education.
Prior to this, Dr. Levy was Co-founder, CEO, and Chief Educational Officer of MedCases, an online medical education company providing continuing education through a case-based approach to physicians across the world. He is the author of CoreWellness: A Physician Wellness Program, and through his award-winning programs has educated 400,000 physicians globally.
Dr. Levy has been in the forefront of innovations in medical education for over 3 decades. His accomplishments include developing over 600 interactive case presentations, the first five CD-ROMs/DVDs in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, some of the most sophisticated 3-D medical/surgical animations, the first i-phone simulated patient encounter, and one of the world’s first virtual reality surgical simulators.
Dr. Levy has also served as the Medical Director of Education and Technology Initiatives for the University of Pennsylvania Health System where his responsibilities included development of computerized physician and patient education systems. His other academic roles have included Associate Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of Resident Education and Medical Student Education at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Dr. Levy has presented over 100 national and international lectures, authored numerous abstracts and scientific papers and developed several patents and inventions. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia Medical School and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He had a clinical practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology for fourteen years.
